Because standard managed care plans like Kaiser rarely cover relationship counseling as a standard benefit, I provide a special reduced out of pocket rate for Kaiser members.
My goal is to make relational wellness accessible even when your insurance does not cover it.
Insurance does not apply to my services. If you have a PPO plan with out of network benefits, I can provide a statement of services you can submit for reimbursement. HSA cards are welcome, and I provide invoices for your records.
Not every hour of therapy is the same hour.
Before private practice I worked as a clinician for Sacramento County Mental Health and did intake at a private psychiatric facility, sitting with people in the middle of the worst days of their lives. That is where you learn to stay calm and useful when a room gets hard.
It means you are not paying for someone to learn on you. You get a licensed therapist who has already seen your situation, will tell you the truth about it, and knows what actually helps.
