Q: How much do you charge for your psychotherapy and counseling sessions?
My fee is 80.00 per 60 minute session, which is generally lower than the fee charged by other area practitioners. I am able to
charge a lower fee due to the fact that I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (MFTI).
Q: I'm in a bad financial situation and I don't think I can afford your fee. Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes, if you can provide proof of income such as last year's W-2 and other docmentation of your financial situation we can discuss an
adjustment to your fee. Without proof of income and other supporting documents the fee is 80.00 per 60-minute session.
In addition, I offer a special discount on my 4-session Couples Therapy Package, which is 280.00 for 4 sessions when purchased at the
first session - an overall savings of 40.00.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
No. Insurance does not apply to my services.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept check or cash (exact change please) at the office. If you wish to use a credit or ATM card to make payment through Paypal, here's the link. (Note that Paypal payments go through
my approved supervisor, Deborah Cohen.) Paypal payments should be made in advance of your session.
Q: When do you schedule appointments?
My office hours are on Fridays and on weekends - Saturdays and Sundays. E-mail me or call to request an appointment.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: I am more than halfway through the 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience needed for licensure. I work under the
supervision of approved supervisor Deborah Cohen, LMFT, which means that we meet on a weekly basis to review my work and
discuss the best possible approaches to helping.
Q: Are your services confidential?
A: Yes, to the extent allowable by law. I share information about you with my Supervisor, which is for your benefit because you receive the input of two therapists!
If you need more information about this please telephone me.
Q: What ages do you work with? Do you work with children?
A: I work with adults and teenagers/adolescents. I do not work with younger children.
Q: What if my question is not answered on this page?
